As Lee pointed out, why bother with any of this virtualization software when OSX has Boot Camp built in? Speaking only for myself, I object to partitioning my small hard drive for the purpose of running this one application. Also, setting up Boot Camp involves repartitioning a HD and that's risky, no matter what Apple may tell you. I run any number of programs in Fusion, including CANalyzer software that interfaces to certain (million dollar) vehicles in the same way that VCDS interfaces to the CANbus in our VWs.

There is no good technical reason why VCDS can't work in Fusion; Ross-Tech simply doesn't perceive a Mac user community big enough to put resources into it and throws us under a bus. Thanks for making it clear that you are only speaking for yourself. I have never had any issues with Boot Camp either on my Mac Pro where I have to use Windows to run AutoCad, or on my Mac Book Pro for running VCDS.

BTW, these applications are the only two that I run in Boot Camp and they work flawlessly. I've never had to contact Auto Desk or Ross Tech due to any issues or problems with the OS.
